Founded  in 2008, the brand set out to create a casual and athletic clothing line that would set its self apart from other extreme lifestyle clothing lines.

The word Jakt is a Norwegian word meaning to hunt for sport. That definition itself signifies the alpha / stand out style that Jakt promotes. But the brand believes you can tailor the name Jakt to your personality. Whether it means living a healthy lifestyle, being tough, fashionable or cool. Jakt shows your uniqueness by standing out, being different and being a leader.

The development of Jakt products signifies its uniqueness by its original artwork printed with metallic inks and foils and finished by hand on fine fabrics that are made in very limited quantities. Small imperfections on the products make no two items alike, making each piece unique for customers so they maintain individuality.
