The First Annual MMA DAY=MAY22-QUEEN'S PARK
Ontario MMA Day, organized by Toronto-based Mixed Martial Arts Expo, will bring together the Ontario citizens, families and businesses that see great benefit in having Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) recognized as another combative sport in Ontario, as boxing has been for over eighty years.
The event will be hosted by Ontario businessman, radio announcer and mixed martial artist instructor and competitor, Jeff Joslin. Also in attendance on the dais will be representatives from the tourism and hospitality industries, local and provincial politicians and many of the brightest stars in the Ontario MMA community including:

Today, Jakt apparel announced a partnership with Morency Sports.com that they will release a weekly mma show called MMA Meltdown. Hosted by popular controversial TV and Radio host Gabriel Morency.
The show will not only focus on mma news and events but also discuss betting and gambling in the fight world, have guest fighters from local and top promotions, and allow fans to call in and vent their rage as always.
Mma Meltdown starts Wednesday, March 3, @ 8pm on www.morencysports.com, www.ustream.tv, can be downloaded on ITUNES and will soon be on TV and Radio stations across the nation.

JAKT brings former Pride champion and UFC light heavyweight Wanderlei "the axe murderer" Silva to Ultra Light club in montreal . The first 100 purchases from the Jakt Apparel web site will be entered into a draw for a chance to party and hangout V.I.P style with Wanderlei the night before UFC97.
Hotel and ticket to the event will be taken care of. contest ends april 15th, 2009 at 12am.

Come meet Ontario's own UFC star Sam "Hands Of Stone" Stout at the grand opening of Extreme Rockstar clothing store in Barrie. Come wish Sam good luck on his UFC 97 fight. As he heads to Montreal the next weekend. Sam will also be making stops at Hhooters and the Roxx night club in Barrie on April 11th.

JAKT APPAREL is a sponser at the BACK 2 BLACK FUNDRAISER in support of the ride to conquer cancer. the event is being held at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto. Doors open at 8pm .tickets can be purchased at www.steveandjayme.com for $50 or $60 at the door.
Jakt Apparel was happy to donate some autographed merchandise to be raffled off during the event. Hope to see you all there.

Jakt apparel brings former Pride and UFC heavy weight champion Antonio "Minotauro" Nogueira to The White Rabbit in Newmarket, Ontario. The event was a success and all around great party. Thank you to all that came. Nogueira told me he had a great time.

Jakt completes it's first photo shoot. shot on location at Adrenaline training gym in London, Ontario by Paz productions. A behind the scenes documentary was also shot the same day by Sepian productions and will be available on the site soon.
Thanks to all that were involved with the shoot, we couldn't have done it without you.
